Affiliate Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the affiliate program for The Author’s Online Playbook (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your participation in our affiliate program (“Program”). By signing up, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following:

1. Enrollment

  • The Program is open worldwide.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during signup.

  • Approval is at our discretion; we may accept or reject applications for any reason.

2. Promotion Rules

  • You may promote our products using organic content such as blogs, social media, email lists, and your website.

  • Not permitted:

    • Paid advertising on our branded terms (“The Author’s Online Playbook” or similar).

    • Submitting codes to coupon-only websites.

    • Misrepresenting our products or making false claims.

  • Affiliates must act ethically and comply with all applicable advertising laws and disclosure requirements (e.g., FTC guidelines in the U.S.).

3. Commissions & Payouts

  • Commission Rate: 30% on all eligible sales referred through your unique affiliate link.

  • Payment Method: PayPal (you must provide a valid PayPal email).

  • Schedule: Commissions are paid monthly, on or around the 15th of each month.

  • Threshold: You must have at least $25 in accrued commissions to receive a payout.

  • Refunds & Chargebacks: If a customer you referred requests a refund or issues a chargeback, any related commission will be deducted from your balance.

4. Tracking & Attribution

  • We use cookies and SureCart’s referral tracking system.

  • Cookie Duration: 30 days.

  • Attribution Model: Last-click (the most recent valid affiliate link clicked before purchase will be credited).

5. Taxes

  • U.S. affiliates must submit a completed W-9 form before receiving payouts.

  • Non-U.S. affiliates must submit a W-8BEN form before receiving payouts.

  • Affiliates are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable taxes in their jurisdiction.

6. Termination

  • We reserve the right to terminate your participation immediately if you violate these Terms (including but not limited to spam, unethical behavior, or misrepresentation).

  • For any other reason, we may terminate your participation with 7 days’ notice.

  • Upon termination, you will no longer receive commissions for new sales. Any unpaid, valid commissions earned before termination will be paid out according to our schedule.

7. Changes to Terms

  • We may update or modify this Agreement at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to our website or affiliate dashboard. Continued participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of any changes.

8. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

  • We make no guarantees regarding your ability to earn income through the Program.

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to your participation.
